N.O. says: you might want to check out Gods Without Men, by Hari Kunzru -- he makes an entire novel based around the concept of Tricksters. Sounds fun!
Non-linear narrative acrobatics, puzzle-like structure. Kind of reminds me of A Visit From the Goon Squad in that respect. Wonderful storytelling. Doubtlessly will be a 2012 favorite for me.
