GONE COUNTRY is the one rare case where the romance sparkles just as much as the sex sizzles!Read this review in its entirety at Fresh Fiction

This is the 14th book in the Rough Riders series by Lorelei James. I have one thing to say about Ms. James, She KNOWS Cowboys! Oh my, even when they aren't cowboys, but instead are ranchers or cops or - for heavens sake - businessmen, she KNOWS Cowboys. This series tells the story of the McKays. ...

I LOVE me some McKay boys. They hot, sexy and Mmmmmm Good. Gavin is no exception to that. He may not have the last name McKay, but he is hot, sexy and Mmmmmm Good. He's not a cowboy, but he does look damn good in a suit. He's powerful. Did I mention he's hot?Ree is the down home hippie chick. She's ...

The formula is the same & it works:Start with a dark-haired, muscled, bossy McKay man. Add in a meet-cute with an independent, Wyoming woman. Sprinkle in some sexy banter & innuendo. 4.5 Finished out 2012 with this book. I enjoy this series and really like the way we get snippets (updates) about what is happening in the lives of the other characters. I liked the way Boone and Sierra were brought into the story line and I look forward to seeing where this goes in the future.

James deals with several difficult issues in this book but you would never know it by the ease with which it all unfolds. Gavin (McKay) Daniels and Rielle Wetzler are mature each with a grown daughter. Parent issues are with young women finding a way in life. The issue of young pregnancy is dealt...

I can't believe I'm writing this about a L.J. book but... I skimmed the sex scenes. SKIMMED! That's the equivalent of me passing up decadent triple chocolate cake because it's too "rich". But gah! I was...underwhelmed. The entire relationship between Gavin and Rielle was just so... bland. Gav...

4.5 GAVIN! Finally became a McKay! I loved he and Rielle together. I loved that they didn't really fight what was between them. I thought it was great how the author wrote a story with characters that were my age...with kids....somewhat realistically. SIERRA and BOONE!! I need their book like...
