Only took me a few hours to read this book, but I loved every second of it! I thought I wouldn't like how indecisive she was (because I know what I would have picked right off the bat, Cabe!) but it's easy to understand with all the info she kept getting. Such a great series!
I was really hoping for a better conclusion to the series. Not that the book didn't tie up some loose ends, but I was hoping for more. Janie finally gets to meet her father. Janie also understands more of what being a dream catcher entails.
1.5 starsWhat exactly was the point of Gone? The series could have easily ended with Fade and made more sense and caused less irritation to readers. Gone is just one long back and forth with Janie trying to figure out whether to isolate herself or not. Over and over and over she waxes poetic about h...
Maybe a 3.5, I'm not sure -- the ending needed more. Im not sure how I feel about it at all except that it wasn't enough.I feel like I was on this great journey and before we get to the final destination, I had to get off at the end of the driveway and watch from there.
This was exctremely sad, and often bittersweet, and it took me in some surprising directions, and some obvious directions.Janie really carried the world on her shoulders, and even when she thought she'd found the perfect solution to her little problem, she realized that the fork was a lot worse than...
A good end to this great series. I honestly didn't know how it was going to end, because nothing looked like a good way out. I did like that we got some background on Janie's father. I honestly never actually thought about where she got her dream talent from, looking back, it should have been obviou...
There is no mystery to solve, no crime to investigate. The entire plot revolves around Janie's Dream Catcher abilities and the choices she will be making about her future. Can she & Cabel handle the burden Janie's powers will place on their relationship? Can Janie even achieve an independent life...
full review can be found on my blog, holes In My brain So here ends our journey with Janie and Cabel, and over the span of the three books I never really well, fell for them. Janie in this book is at a Morton's Fork, or as she adequately says "two equally sucky choices". The author really drew out h...
