DNF at 60%If I still think the main love interest is an asshole when I'm at 60%, I think I'll never warm up to him. Dylan, the werewolf, was not much better. He was just so incredibly meh. I had the impression he had no strong feelings at all, about anything. And these two spend an awful lot of time...
An enjoyable tale about Dylan an architect who moves to the country in order to live more freely as a werewolf at full moon. He meets red-neck neighbour Chris who agrees to help him renovate his house.
I just loved the "Nerd turned werewolf" story line. It worked beautifully. I loved how Chris was so different from the first impression the reader and Dylan got from him. The romance developed in a way that felt natural to me - there was tension, there was a lot of showing, not telling, and I wi...
What is with the blechy cover? These guys are supposed to be in their mid 20’s but here they look more like sneering kids. Definitely not like the grown-up hipster and the rough around the edges handyman they are in the story. I think I’d prefer one of those stock shirtless guy covers to this thing....
Really enjoyed this. Nothing terribly new about the take on the were mythology, more based on the relationship. Definitely reading the 2nd book in the series.
A very good and nicely different “shifter” story about Dylan, a hipster architect who flees his city life for country living where he fixes-up an old house while trying to keep his monthly werewolf outing on the down-low. Lucky for him, his only neighbor is a hot guy who is handy with tools, is quit...
This is everything I could wish for in a book. Loveable boys, and great side characters. Dylan and Chris both change some of their ways, but it's not hurried or forced, it's a natural thing, the way love should be. There's just enough drama and angst to make it really good. There was perma gri...
I didn't remember buying this one but wow was it just what I wanted. I liked this take on the Werewolf thing and I thought to MCs were darling together. One big plus is Fielding gave them hangups and flaws that didn't disappear once the words 'I love you' were uttered. I'm going to dive into the seq...
3.25 stars.First of all, I really liked the realistic feel of this story! And even though I enjoyed most of it, there were still some parts I found rather boring and wanted to skip. But overall a nice shifter story.
