So the hubby wanted to watch the show adaption. I told him I wasn't watching it with him unless I read the book first. So after he read it, here we are! This book was harder to read than I thought it would be. I thought I would fly through it, page after page, but it was a slow pace. I actually look...

Fantastic! This was an excellent listen. Great story; good narration and just fun. An Angel and Demon living through the ages of the world and becoming best friends while doing it. And together they help avert the apocalypse. It was simply brilliant.

According to The Nice and Accurate Prophecies of Agnes Nutter, Witch (the world's only completely accurate book of prophecies, written in 1655, before she exploded), the world will end on a Saturday. Next Saturday, in fact. Just before dinner. So the armies of Good and Evil are amassing, Atlantis ...

For more reviews, check out my blog: Craft-CycleThis is one of those books that I'd been meaning to read for ages, but just hadn't gotten around to. I am a fan of both Gaiman and Pratchett and Good Omens was an enjoyable read. My favourite parts were the end notes where the authors discuss working with each other. They inspired me to search for synergy with another. I have to admit though, and this may be unpopular, I found little synergy in the...

The Apocalypse has arrived, but the fabled battle of Armageddon will not take place in the Middle East it’ll be in Oxfordshire unless a demon and an angel get their way. Good Omens is from the combined writing of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett who take the well-trod path of end of the world novels...

I haven't always had the best luck with BBC full cast dramatisations, but this one worked brilliantly. A demon and an angel set out to thwart the apocalypse. Chaos ensures. It's Pratchett, so it's almost guaranteed funny. I haven't read enough Gaiman to comment on what he brings to the story o...

This has angels, demons, the antichrist, prophecies and so much more. It's funny and a total trip. I had a ball reading it. The end of the world is drawing close. Things are coming to pass. But not all the angels and demons are enemies. There's a mixup with the babies. Everything gets all mix...

DON’T THINK OF IT AS DYING, said Death, JUST THINK OF IT AS LEAVING EARLY TO AVOID THE RUSH.An angel who collects antiques and runs a bookstore religiously devoid of customers? A demon (“an Angel who did not so much Fall as Saunter Vaguely Downwards”) whose car turns every single cassette ('90s here...
