For more reviews, check out my blog: Craft-CycleWhile I absolutely loved the first book in the series, I feel like my interest level dropped as the series went on. The events just became too unbelievable. This was a good wrap-up to the series, but parts were just so dramatic and extreme that they ki...

For more reviews, check out my blog: Craft-CycleOne thing that I really enjoy about this series is how seamlessly Korman works in various facts and educational tidbits. The adventure and survival aspects of the story are so exciting to read that you don't even realize you are learning as well (mostl...

He has been in a coma after falling off the roof which he got to from his bedroom window. Chase has been diagnosed with amnesia and the doctors are not sure he will ever recall...

There is a part in the middle where I was like, wait it seems over but half the book is still left, then the action started again. There were some twists that young readers may not see coming. There are e...

I read the first book in this series, Masterminds a few years ago when it first came out and loved it. This book (#2) has been out for a while, but I never got around to reading it. Just this past week, I received book 3 in the mail from Amazon (thanks to my advanced pre-ordering skills). Then I rea...

Last month, Gordon Korman came to visit our school. He spoke to the students in grades 3 through 8. It was a great experience. He even had writing sessions, where he taught the kids how to come up with their own stories. I only read one of his books, so I decided to read a few more. As usual, I d...

This book is a bridge between the main 39 Clues series and the new series, Cahills vs. Vespers. It contains four stories, each taking place at a different point in time, that explain key events of how the two families are linked. In the first one, we also see how the four siblings who give the names...

This was a pretty entertaining story. It has lots of humor which isn't quite the norm for a mob story. I enjoyed it.
