Graciela Speranza (Buenos Aires, Argentina, 1957) is professor of Argentine literature at the Universidad de Buenos Aires and teaches in the Arts Programme of the Universidad Torcuato Di Tella. She has published several books of conversations on arts and literature including Primera persona: Conversaciones con quince narradores argentinos (1995), Guillermo Kuitca. Obras 1982-1998 (1998) and Razones intensas (1999), the critical essays Manuel Puig. Después del fin de la literatura (2000) and Fuera de campo. Literatura y arte argentinos después de Duchamp (2006), and two novels, Oficios Ingleses (2003) and En el aire (2010). She has also written documentary and feature films scripts. As literary and arts critic she has collaborated in Crisis, Babel, Página 12, Clarín and La Nación, and is co-editor of the arts and letters journal Otra parte. She is a Guggenheim Fellow since 2002.
