I have absolutely no idea if any of this book is true (it is called a "Liar's Autobiography after all). I find that I didn't care in the least while reading it and enjoyed it immensely.

I'm not sure why I didn't enjoy this as much as I was expecting. I am a Python fan, and it's certainly lovely to have all the words to The Dead Parrot, but The Ministry of Silly Walks just isn't as funny without the visuals.
