It has probably been close to a decade since I read the first two books in this series. It didn’t seem to matter, as I remembered enough to get right back into it. That’s the magic of these addictive brain candy books. Once you get to know Bob (you incorporeal sexist pig, you), you never forget him....
Reading this for Supernatural square for Halloween bingo. Dresden is in trouble fighting ghosts. It is not really his area of expertise. He has a partner Michael who is a pest also pushing his Christian religion to Dresden. I hope he got killed in the end as I really dislike this character. ...
Wow. There's just so much going on in this book -- so much that sets things in motion that are still shaping the series. Once a series goes on as long as this one, it's easy to mix up your internal timeline about what happens when -- this reread really exposed how much I've done for The Dresden File...
