This book taught me how to read and, by extension, to write. My parents and educators were only secondarily-involved in the process. This might explain a lot.

I LOVED this book when I was a child! I would read it over & over to my mom. I think she can still recite almost the whole book from memory because I read ito to her so many times!

I like green eggs and ham!I do! I like them sam-I-am!And I would eat them in a boat.And I would eat them with a goat...I grew up reading Dr.Seuss A wonderful story every child should have this book!

I really like Green Eggs and Ham...Sam I am..Yes, I did like Green Eggs and Ham. What else can you say about the greatest Dr. Seuss book in existence...A classic that should be required reading! LOL
