Hal Jordan has to deal with the fact that the spirit of Vengeance is within him, that the evil is trying to take over again and that maybe it's time to face up to his fears. Interesting and I love the artwork, particularly John's constructions.
Hal Jordan, possibly the greatest of the Green Lanterns, battles with the two entities bonded with him, The Spectre and Parallax, for a second chance. Will he return to the land of the living and, if so, what will be waiting for him when he gets there...?First off, the very first super hero action ...
The story is absolutely fantastic. Terrific writing with a solid plot and nice dialog. The art is good but not amazing. The art supports the story well, but doesn't do anything to really lift the great writing into a new dimension. Overall, I enjoyed it very much and would recommend it.
Fun, but despite what it set in motion, not actually as big and important and altering to the franchise as what's come more recently.
