Greg McCollum grew up in Summerville, Georgia and graduated from high school in 1971. He attended the University of Georgia and received a Bachelor of Arts in Journalism. Greg spent the next 30-plus years as a TV news photographer, manager of a public access cable channel, and a high school teacher. Greg and his wife lived in the Atlanta suburbs for almost 30 years, but now reside in Rome, Georgia. His books include Chattooga County (an Images of America photo book); and a novel, I Woke Up Back In High School, about a 40th high school reunion and reality TV show.
