Greg Miller's poems have appeared in SLATE, THE VIRGINIA QUARTERLY, TIKKUN, and other journals. THE SEA SLEEPS: NEW AND SELECTED POEMS is forthcoming from Paraclete Press (May 2014). Miller has been a writing fellow at the Fine Arts Work Center in Provincetown, Yaddo, and MacDowell in the United States; the Dora Maar House (sponsored by the Houston Museum of Fine Arts), the Camargo Foundation, and the CAMAC Centre d'Art in France; and Gladstone’s Library in Wales. Named Mississippi Professor of the Year by the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching and featured as one of the most innovative professors in the South by THE OXFORD AMERICAN, Miller served until 2011 as chair of the Sudanese Ministry Committee of the Episcopal Diocese of Mississippi. Currently the Janice C. Trimble Professor of English at Millsaps College, Miller received his Ph.D. in English from the University of California at Berkeley, his M.A. in English and Creative Writing from Stanford University and his B.A. in French Literature and Political Science from Vanderbilt University.
