Kupiłem go więc zaraz po premierze.

The only power that has any real meaning is the power to better the world.” If you EVER decide to READ this book that is 933 pages long, chose PLEASE the audio-book that is 43 hours long. Humphrey Bower IS a BOMB. Ho...

Always nice when an author turns up in your store to buy a copy of his book for someone, and you ambush him to sign another copy for yourself!

This had an average rating of 4.22 with over 45000 readers, so had been top of my shelf for a while. Really, I couldn't put it down. One of my all-time favorites.

Published at The BiblioSanctum:Lin, later named "Shantaram" (man of peace), is an escaped Australian convict whose exile finds him in Bombay, India. Certain events and descriptions seem to mirror Roberts' own life, but how much of the book is heavily based on fact and how much is fiction is unknown....

Criminal with a heart of gold and active conscience seeks love, which he throws away, and the esteem of father figures. I didn't mind the purpleness of the prose as much as some reviewers have, and I give Roberts credit for writing this as a novel. Still, it is written in a memoir style and has a wh...
