Gregory M. Scott Ph.D, along with Stephen M.Garrison Ph.D. and other co-authors have published eleven political science textbooks and writer's manuals in seven disciplines(27 volumes including subsequent editions). Born in Massachusetts, he earned his Ph.D. at the University of Virginia in 1989. He is Professor of Political Science Emeritus at the University of Central Oklahoma and resides in Edmond, OK. Dr. Scott has built a house by hand from stone in Raymond, Maine, worked for three government agencies, been a consultant to a dozen government agencies,and has taught political science for a quarter century. Via motorcycle, he and his wife have traveled most of the roads in the Rocky Mountains, and have hiked more trails than most of the mountain lions who live there.
