This book made me fall in love with Astral Weeks, especially Madame George. Now I'll have to watch the movie Breakfast on Pluto and check out some of Morrison's influences. Thought to take away: is the song singing you?
There are some interesting essays in here, but also some not-so-interesting ones. And some shitty ones, like the one on Huck Finn that gets exactly everything wrong. It's an uneven collection. Worthwhile if you can find it used.
