A coworker lent me these books (the first trilogy) in the middle of February which feels like a lifetime ago. I really like the format. The book size and shape is satisfying to hold and the letters are fun (I was reminded of the Jolly Postman books that I used to read as a kid). I would recommen...

„Griffin und Sabine“ ist eine etwas andere Liebesgeschichte.Eines Tages erhält Griffin, ein Londoner Künstler, Post von Sabine, die über seine Entwürfe Bescheid weiß. Dies ist sehr mysteriös, da Griffin die Entwürfe meist gerade erst fertig gestellt hat oder sie nie jemanden zeigte. Fortan schreiben...

When I was going to Uni, I worked for a professor doing pretty much whatever needed done. One of those things was picking up her daughter from school and staying with her until her mom came home. Said daughter was really old enough to amuse herself (a pre-teen) so I was mostly left with lots of ti...

This gets five stars because of the original conception and beauty of the visual execution--even though if this were text only I doubt it would impress. Really enjoyed the concept and the artwork. Such a creative work. I finished thinking it was too short, but apparently there are sequels for me to look for.

Very cool book.. But mostly for the art and the way you read it through letters and postcards. The way that you take the letters out of real envelopes? Well, thats just pure genius! Loved it!

This guy gets big points for originality and wildly funky artwork. I suggest reading the "trilogy" all at once, so you get the continuity and see how it all ends up.

Without ever meeting in person, the artists Griffin and Sabine recieve notes from each other. The art is beautiful and the story, fantastical.
