otoh, I've been trying out the Disqus commenting on Blog posts – it's only slightly more complicated to set up than Booklikes comments, it has threading, it lets you do HTML and upload images. If they added that to Discussions it would be a very nice product

So, no editing, no book links, no html. No images? It doesn't even treat urls as links (from post#1). I'd say it's too primitive for use right now, but they say it's just the alpha version.
