Bashara - I think incorporating both non-fiction and fiction in your daughter's schooling is great! I myself was home schooled, and I found it much easier to absorb history through reading books about the events, time periods, figures, etc.

I love history in general so I'll read anything, but Ancient Rome and World War II are at the top of the list. Nice to join with you guys! :)
