Ironic to me because just the other day, I was discussing with a friend how suddenly in the past few months, there's been a massive influx in apocalypse-related films (whether post- or pre- or even concurrent).
This book starts out with Runt living on a planet in Andromeda. He was originally sent there to make the planet habitable and but has been basically stranded.
