Gustavo E. RomeroFull Professor of Relativistic Astrophysics at the University of La Plata and Chief Researcher of the National Research Council of Argentina. A former President of the Argentine Astronomical Society, he has published more than 300 papers on astrophysics, gravitation, and the foundation of physics, and 9 books. His main current interest is on black hole physics, high-energy astrophysics, and ontological problems of space-time theories. He has lectured on astrophysics and philosophy in more than 20 countries. In his scarce free time, Dr. Romero enjoys literature, classic music (especially romantic and baroque), horror movies, and Japanese whisky.
