*I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review. Karen voices the story as one would reading to a young child, which is expected being the book is for children. She makes it sound fun with voicing the characters in different tones to fit their stature...

When I started reading this book I didn't realize it was written as fairy tales for children.Honestly I downloaded it because it was about dragons and it was free!Really nice read though, great stories about dragons :)

I must admit that I am not entirely satisfied, and maybe I should not have spent quite so much time discussing it with my dear friends at the Fabian Society. At first ...

What I love about Nesbit is her focus on the children in her stories. This is my second book by her, the first being Five Children and It. There are loads of similarities between the two. The children are pretty much without supervision. The adults who do appear in the stories are simple and easily ...

One of my favourite books when I was a child. Unfortunately, I can't seem to find the book anywhere so I ended up reading the ebook version, so I didn't get to see the cool illustrations I remember from my childhood. It was nice to take a walk down memory lane again and enjoy a childhood favourite.

Read with daughter, she couldn't get into it. Finished it on my own. Rereading it in less than seven months later on might raise the rating a bit :)
