I first read this trilogy shortly after it came out. I've reread it several times over the years and love it again each time.

As I said another time I read this, knowing the ending only makes it more poignant. Also, the last line is one of my favorites in the whole world. [May 2011]
This is the end to the trilogy. The conclusion finally answers the questions posed in the first two. I find that this series was more a coming of age book for a boy, trying to find his purpose in life. It was beautiful written, if not the easiest to follow at times.
