Now I remember the question that haunted me throughout the 1st and 2nd books: How come Justine can zing but is no highcap? Q:I could see a truly desperate highcap coming forward for more money, but it would have to be a lot more. Hell, I’m just an overwrought human with the power to zing, and I wou...
I'm surprised by how much I really enjoyed this series. I don't know why. I guess I just find a lot of urban fantasy is the same old, same old. There wasn't a werewolf, witch or vampire in sight and I liked it.Justine Jones growth over the course of the series kept me gripped. I wanted her to make i...
This is now in my top three favorite series EVER. Wow. Amazingly, refreshingly original. The writing was just delightful. Some of the best charactersIve ever read. Just...wow. So funny then it just wrings out your insides, the emotions are so strong. One of best world building concepts I've ever com...

Wow!!I'm a Carolyn Crane fan from this day forward. I just need to come up with a better more creative way to review such an amazingly woven book filled with hilarious laugh out laud moments, cannibals, a dad in a hazmat suit, grumpy, and sweet romance...
