Brook always offers a good steampunk. I got good action, interesting romance and amazing world building to boot. Steampunk cravings fixed.

Book two of this series was just as delightful but in completely different ways. I approve! This book weighed far heavier in terms of plot than the first one. I'd say if book one was a romance set in a steampunk adventure then this was a steampunk adventure with a romance. Yasmeen and Fox were not t...

Posted on Dark Faerie Tales.I love Meljean Brook. After The Iron Duke, I became a fan. Who wouldn’t love pirates, steampunk, and zombies in a historical setting? With the next book in the Iron Seas series, Heart of Steel, I wasn’t sure if I was going to miss Trahaern and Mina too much to be open to ...

This one was a sweet surprise for me. I wasn't sure I was a fan of Archimedes but he won me over with his charm and witty nature. Yasmeen was the alpha of the story with Archimedes as the beta hero. This is the second book in [a:Meljean Brook|24009|Meljean Brook|http://d.gr-assets.com/authors/1317348186p2/24009.jpg]'s Iron Seas series, and while it can be read as a stand alone, a lot of the world building is established in the first book, [b:The Iron Duke|7864587|The Iron Duke (Iron Seas, #1)|M...

Swash you buckles! Ok, This book is just absurd, adventure fun, but heres the thing, adventure fun is hard to do. The shelves are littered with books that picked up a bit of history, a bit of fantasy, a bit of a Zombie and a bit romance, stirred them all together and were sure they had arrive at glo...
