Bella was taken in by the gray pack when her family was killed. She flees the gray pack after their alpha, Volan, tries to force her to mate with him. Bella has lived on her own for 150+ years when this story picks up.I thought the zoo thing was funny and unique. The whole gray/red wolf differences/...
Bella tried to entice a human to mate with her but he ran off for he was young. Duelyn- the werewolf who rescued her when her whole pack of red wolves including her parents died in a fire- had taken her to his pack and she was accepted but the Alpha wolf wanted to mate her - Volan- and he was violen...
At the start of the book it was okay, but while I was reading it, I feel as though it was dragging me. The book felt long and i had a hard time finishing it. Normally, it would take a day or two to finish one book, but this one took me three days. And the number of chapters was just around twenty tw...
I try to avoid saying negative things about a book if I can, but it cannot be avoided in this case. I think the premise of the story was interesting, but with a romance focused solely on the physical aspects of a relationship/romance, I ended up not really caring for the main couple since I wasn't e...
Re-Read. I read this book when it first came out, but at that time I hadn't opened my review blog. I have several books that I read before I opened my blog and I have been wanting to take my time and review them. Review coming soon. I love darker PNR'S.
I gave up! I could not get through another page, I tried. I guess I could best summarize the book as amateurish and boring. Main chick - I've already forgotten her name couldnt make up her damn mind, one minute she wants her true mate the next she wants a human. then she wants her mate again, but is...
What worked for me:*Lone wolf being forced back into the pack, and being too stubborn/alpha to come back like a good little puppy.*The whole bittersweet "I love you but we can't be together" thing that lasted over 100 years. What didn't work for me:*Too much sex. Yes, you heard me. Too much sex. It ...
Tried out this author b/c I kept hearing how well she wrote about the wolf side of shifters. And they were right―she definitely has the wolf behaviour down. But IIRC, I wasn't as captivated by the general storyline, and the ending/conflict resolution was a bit... weak? flat? IDK but I felt a bit ...
This author had an interesting world concept, and weaves a lot of great wolf behavior into her mythology. Unfortunately, I couldn't stand the characters' behaviors and motivations. Not for me, but I'm sure someone else could enjoy it.
The characters were blah, and the plot and dialog were ridiculous. The plot actually started out fine, but the author kept adding more and more unnecessary and unbelievable storylines.
