I really liked this story especially the heroine who was so endearing with her unwavering belief in true love despite all her bad relationships. The action moved right along laced with plenty of humor. After her latest breakup, Alison decides to use a matchmaking service run by Brandon.

She lives in her condo with her three cats – one less than the required amount to be a crazy cat lady. All she ...

After a series of astoundingly bad relationships, Alison is feeling desperate enough to try anything -- even a male matchmaker. Brandon, who recently inherited his grandmother’s business, seems to almost be able to read her mind, so it seems likely he’ll be able to find her just the right man. There...

★★★★✩ This is a very “readable” book with a dialogue that was spot on, making it a fast read. Some amusing scenes that were LOL funny that still managed to be realistic. For a contemporary romance, it had a chick-lit-ish feel to it. I found the ending a little unbelievable, especially in this eco...

I like Jane Graves's stories before but this one is MEH!!! Let me list down the a couple things that I dislike (so I can say what I like later) but is very important on why I give my rating.+ The whole plot is everything about Alison trying to find a guy and she goes on and on and on about how she w...

This is the second book by Jane Graves that I've read in the last couple of weeks and it's another book that I highly enjoyed. I'm a sucker for contemporaries so it doesn't take much for me to inhale them but this book did a great job of grabbing my attention and not letting go. Brandon Scott needs ...

Full review here: http://www.brazenbookworm.com/2011/09/book-review-heartstrings-and-diamond.htmlA decent read, but not Graves' best work. Try Hot Wheels and High Heels instead of this one.

Alison Carter is that not-so-perfect main character that want so badly to settle down and get married, but she keeps getting involved with the wrong guy. All she wants is the nice guy who will be a good husband and father - on that is responsible and holds a decent job. That shouldn't be so hard to ...
