Solid follow-up to Ill Wind...this one didn't grab me the way the first one did, but I enjoyed Joanne's adventures as a Djinn here. She returns to being human at the end, so it will be interesting to see where she goes from here.

Not impressed with where this series is going. In the first two books, the same thing happened to the main character... TWICE. It's a good idea, and an interesting world, but I'm just not into it. It's not you, it's me. Okay- maybe it's you.

Audiobook.I've previously read this book. Now I listened to the audiobook. Boy oh boy does this narrator convey erotic feelings well. Her voice is very, very smooth. The book itself is as good as I remembered it previously.

Unfortunately this didn't live up to my expectations. Joanne is now a djinn and learning how to survive in a whole new world. It seemed to me to be mainly about sex with a little plot thrown in. I really liked Joanne's snarkiness in Ill Wind but she falls flat in this one. The plot seems chaotic ...

She now has to learn the realities of her n ew life, with the new senses, the new body, the new powers and the sheer new world that comes with being a djinn, a creature of smoke, fire and pure energy. But things aren’t so simp...
