It was a nice enough story. I liked the idea, I liked that some things were well thought out. But on the other hand it was a little too "mushy" for me. Maybe I am getting too old for this genre? I don't know. I just know I was drowning in details sometimes.

Initial Thoughts: There were parts of "Dark Companion" I liked enough to see where they went, but I don't think those parts outweighed the many times this book seemed to drop the ball and then some. I have a long review to write on this, so hopefully I can explain why this book didn't work for the ...

I was not expecting such a religious tone to this story. I was slightly irritated by the constant moral rampage against, drinking, drugs, sex...but at the same time the message was heartfelt. I feel like I was tricked onto reading this Christian book. I would not have read it if it had been labeled ...

I liked this book - My rating should probably be closer to a 3.5 star. The characters are definitely likable and Matthias is definitely the hook. Zoe was likable even though I wanted to shake her at times! Without giving away any of the plot of the book I will say that it has some definite religi...

Just didn't do it for me. The autistic sister was too much of a distraction for me.

Heard about this book a long time ago, but could never find it. Glad it's popped up again.

Heavenly is a novel full of conflictive emotions and a lot of angst. It is also a book that shows us that not all is lost if we have faith, and that the presence of someone special in our lives can make us see light at the end of the tunnel.I particularly liked the subject of autism, it's an issue t...

Signed copy from author...excited since we have autism spectrum kiddos to read this one! It is in my mind a realistic look at what teens who have an addiction and are in the polular crowd would face. Loved the ideas, the themes, and main hero. Glad it's a series. The sister's autism was an underlyi...
