Heide Katros was born and raised in Germany near the French border. She met her pharmacist husband, while they were both vacationing in Rhodos, Greece. Since Heide only spoke German and French at the time, it was often hilarious, when they tried to communicate. When Mitch returned to the United States they kept in touch via mail. Heide came to America a year later to finish her studies and fell in love with the country as well. She did not start to write until both sons were in college, and she wrote her first novel Bewitching Angel on a challenge. "So, you think you can write a novel?" Heide thought she could, and she did. She even won an award throught the Indiana Romance Writers Golden Opportunity Contest for that book. She must confess that writing is addictive, because once she wrote one novel, she wondered if she could write another. By the third novel she was hopelessly drawn to creating new novels.In the meantime Heide is writing her 23 novel, though not all are publised yet. It will be a sequel to Make Me No Promises, both are contemporary romantic suspense novels.
