I stumbled upon this series a few days ago and it sounded like I would like it, so I immediately got me the first book.I half expected just to get some men and women in uniform, shapeshifters, a brewing struggle between human and shapeshifters and some romance, a setup that worked well for me in sev...

Sorry but this one was not for me. I did not connect with any of the characters, skimmed much of the interminable plot and was greatly relieved to finish.

I am not really sure about my feelings here. On the one hand it's full of my favorite elements: - it's funny, - it has dangerous alphas shifters, - it has a man-child (reminds me strongly of Jory, don't ask), - mystery and suspense, - it has a damaged hero, - and Dr. Evil an evil maniac out of con...

I love the alternate world with the Therians. Charlie created such a neat, interesting world and I love Dex, but who doesn't. He is such a happy guy!
