I really enjoyed the plot of this story but the action moved along pretty slow with characters ruminating. I did like the personalities of both the hero and heroine with their very different backgrounds. Dr Leah meets her new neighbor Will and they help each other with their challenges in life.
I've been reading more and more Sarah Mayberry and I have to tell you that I really enjoy her stuff. I was looking for a sweet CR to change the pace of some of the darker stuff I had been reading recently and I knew exactly where to turn. Sarah Mayberry is my go to author in those types of situati...
I discovered Sarah Mayberry's lovely, down-to-earth, Australian contemporaries about a year ago (with Her Best Worst Mistake, which I loved), and I've gradually been working my way through her back list. Not all of her stories work for me, but I usually appreciate their authenticity: the characters ...
This novella is a sweet little story. Nothing dramatic happens and the hero and heroine are both nice, normal and rational. No big misunderstandings, no villains, no cliches. Just a simple story about a gorgeous musician who falls in love with a gorgeous doctor. If you're looking for angst or drama,...
Sweet book. I love Ms. Mayberry's writing. She always has different scenarios, evocative scenes. Not much to say other than well written, as always. It is a quick read, but a good read.Insert any other cliché "review" buzz word/phrase here. Willing suspension of disbelief does have to be fully engag...
So after four books that were not winners, I thought maybe I was going through a reading slump. I should've know that Sarah Mayberry would save the day. Blurb: Leah Mathews has always been the good sister, the favored one who could do no wrong. But as her thirtieth birthday looms, she's ready to ...
This book had a very strong first half and a super cute, socially-awkward heroine. It falls apart a bit during the second half, but it's still a strong book. This one was more entertaining than the companion full-length novel, [b:Her Favorite Rival|17570285|Her Favorite Rival|Sarah Mayberry|http://d...
Sarah Mayberry is one of those authors I always seem to enjoy but never really seek out. Her Favorite Temptation is probably the story that bumps her into "must have" category, and I can't put a finger on any one reason why that's the case. Leah is a cardiothoracic surgeon who is about to switch to ...
Review Posted on HarlequinJunkie.comLeah Matthews is the good sister. She’s grown up to be everything that her parents want her to be. But is it what she wants? The answer to that question is a resounding “no”. So she decides to veer away from being a surgeon – to her mother’s amazingly persistent d...
This was my third Sarah Mayberry book and loved it.Lovable characters , a good plot and enough drama and sexy moments to make it a good romance book.P.S.At one point I was thinking that the character were talking like normal people and then I remembered that this was an Australian author , of course...
