A funny & deftly written tale about Rob, a pop-music junkie who owns a failing record store, & the on-again-off-again lures of being single, hanging with the guys, and living the perfect "thirtysomething" life. "A touching story of pop addiction & lost love."--Elle

An interesting, pretty easy/fast read. My first Nick Hornby novel. I'm not sure if I enjoyed it particularly, but it's not horrible. PSThere were many bands I'd never heard of and cultural references I didn't understand. Just have your computer nearby while reading so you can look up Opal Fruits.
