Okay, this is the 3rd Joey Hill book that I've tried & her writing is not for me.
To be honest I have to admit that having the heroine being the domme in the story is not the scenario I prefer. That said, I really liked this book. This is the beautifully written story of two damaged souls who find and try to heal each other.This book is also a beautiful prequel to “Rough canvas”.

Probably more 3.5 for me (but simply b/c I always seem to have harder time getting into the story when a Domme is an MC). But the book had enough positives to warrant the bump up. Plus, it's Joey Hill―I mean, c’mon now! :D
