I don't like short reads and only Hollis Shiloh can make me happy about reading them. A beat-up guy on the side of the road and a man on his way to a job meet and help each other grow. There was touching softness between the two of them.
Totally adorable hurt-comfort story. For a short story that only has 50 pages to work with, I thought that the author did a great job of developing both the characters and their relationship. And, of course, you can't go wrong with that awwww-inducing ending. :)
