I thought this novella was well done for the most part. It was suspenseful and I truly wondered how Cat was going to get everyone out of this pickle. While I did think it ended well, I thought the solution was found too easily and conveniently.
... for the final book in the series, which was released yesterday, and this was the most enjoyable of all of the novellas. It starred Cat and Bones and most of the other characters I've come to love in the Night Huntress world. Definitely worth reading!
It was an ok read. Well written, gripping and with some original story twists and turns. Very dramatic and a lot of action. A quick read, but not very memorable - and don't expect any warm and fuzzy feelings with this one. It was kind of brutal.
