Anthology The rating I'll round up to 3 but only a few of the stories were worth reading1. If I Had a Hammer, Charlaine Harris (Sookie Stackhouse #13.1). It's been awhile since I read a Sookie book so this was really nice to read about her now. Even though I thought I'd everything out there this sto...

After this, I decided always to read only the short stories from the authors I care about. So after I had read like half of the book and really didn't want to continue with it, but there still was this Toby Daye story, once I just got past a few others... "If I Had A Hammer" by Charlaine Harris-Sookie simply bores me to tears. ★"Wizard Home Security" by Victor Gischler-This was a cute story with a nice come-back twist in the end. The main character's self-deprecating humor was entertaining as well. ★★★"Gray" by Patricia Briggs-I was surprised by how ...

I only read the stories by Seanan McGuire, Patricia Briggs, Charlaine Harris and Melissa Marr. My favorite was the Toby Daye story, but Briggs' entry was a bonus.

I read Gray by Patricia Briggs and Rick the Brave by Stacia Kane. In Gray, Patricia Briggs writes about a vampire who purchases a haunted condo/apartment that she lived in while human. Although, this story doesn't have any of the characters from the Mercy Thompson books, the vampires appear to hav...
