I enjoyed this story about magicians with interesting and exciting action for awhile then events got repetitive but my real problem was how much power the bad guy had over hero which didn't seem realistic. Roxy's father runs a magic show and takes young pick-pocket Luke into their family.

Roberts bridges the gap nicely; writing...

I've always enjoyed a carnival/magical type atmosphere in a novel so I just knew I was going to love this one. I wasn't disappointed. What I liked most about this book was the way the author developed the hero and heroine. We get to see them as little brats and are allowed to grow up with them. I ty...
