I can see why people like this series. I do like Oberon, though he isn't quite dog like (but that could be explained by the use of Atticus' magic). I enjoyed the use of lawyers. Honesty if it wasn't for the wolfhound and lawyers, this would be a DNF.But, I have some issues.1. Way too much info dump...

This was a fun read. I've read a few of the novellas that accompany the series and I knew I would be in for a treat. Atticus is a 2100-year-old druid trying to live his best life as a bookstore owner in Arizona. He lives with his Irish Wolfhound, Oberon, with whom is is bound. He has taught Ober...

Buddy listen with Lexxie! What a fantastic start to the series! I have been wanting to read this series for a long time and it turned out to be just as good as I had hoped it would be. The book's excitement started at the very beginning and never really let up. I wanted to listen to this one for hour...

You walk into an occult bookshop. You see a young man working there and the first thing you think of is he must be here working for his folks or family members trying to save money for school. Girls will just think he's a cute boy and maybe see him in school sometime. He wouldn't harm a fly, and h...

Atticus is the only remaining Druid from a time long gone by, hiding out from Angus Og, the Celtic god of love and youth, who wants to kill Atticus for a perceiv...

Keeping this brief so I can catch up on other things, I posted a few quick thoughts about the book previously -- and that still covers most of my thoughts: It took no time at all for this book to grab me, and another 15 pages for me to fall in love with this. Right off the bat we get a solid action ...

My review and an extended sample of the audiobook are posted at Hotlistens.com. I know so many people who have been reading (or well, listening) to this series for a while now. I know that they love it and I’ve yet to try it. That is until now. After finally knocking out a few series (my goal for ...

Not complicated. The book was a fun read, a rollicking adventure with clever and witty characters and The Best Dog Ever! I totally enjoyed it and will be reading on in this series. :)

Here's the thing. Most authors who write fantasy and novels with supernatural elements tend to tiptoe around characters that are supposed to be really old. Not many can pull it off. Human age can be divided into two categories: one – being older and having a severe allergy to stupid, and two – being...
