This book wasn't what I expected, I was expecting some horror tale about the Countess in the modern day, instead it was like a history lesson with the best bits missing and some pointless attempt to have a modern twist added.The flash backs to the 1600's worked well and gave a real feel of what happ...
An ambitious book that moves back and forth between present day plot and 17th century.
This book was pretty awesome and horrific. I really enjoyed reading this.The only thing I didn't like was the teenaged "goth". It was cringe-worthy and hella awkward to read.
