Couldn't finish, I couldn’t even get into the story. There is instant attraction between the two main characters, and the reason that they are drawn to each other is really not clear and so flimsy that it didn't grip me and I didn't care. Basically there is insta-love and so much boring dialogue betw...

Good solid historical romance. It sounds like I'm talking about a horse for a minute. No real big surprises. Nothing made me tear up. But the story was good, the couple was enjoyable, the romance was entertaining, so good solid historical romance.

I adored the first half of this book. The second half wasn't quite as good, but overall I really liked it. I haven't read any others in this series, but this one stood well enough on its own.

4.5 Stars.. I really liked this one a lot more than her newest, A Notorious Countess Confesses. The dialogue reminds me of What I Did For a Duke.. and the characters are pretty engaging. I won't disagree with the reviews that state that heroine kind of "regresses" .. shall we say, about halfway thro...
