Married for 49 years as of 2012. All children, their spouses and grandchildren serving God in some capacity. Founder of Ekklesia Christian School and Immanuel's HealthCare nursng home. He and wife awarded the "Salt and Light Award" by The Baptist General Convention of Texas in 2001 for making a difference in the community.
