I am an Irish poet, literary critic, literary editor and historian. Four collections of my poetry have been published: Cities of Mirrors (Beaver Row Press, Dublin, 1984), Pieces of Time (Lapwing Publications, Belfast, 2004), Elegies & Epiphanies: Selected Poems (Lagan Press, Belfast, 2005), and Empire of Shadows (Salmon Poetry, Cliffs of Moher, 2012). Born in Derry, lived for a few years in childhood in Donegal, then moved to live in Dublin, Ireland. Lived for a time in London in the 1960s and early 1970s. Educated at University College, Dublin. M.A. in Modern History. Reviewed widely in Irish newspapers and magazines. I am the literary executor of the literary estate of the late Irish poet, short-story writer and critic John Jordan.
