This was going great until the resolution of the issues Alex Willan was having at the end that kinda fell a bit flat and left me wanting, it was just resolved too quickly, almost as if the author realised that she had left a plot piece unresolved before the end of the book and it had to go in sudden...

Although the formula is starting to run a little dry for me I still do enjoy the Argeneau books. This one marked a return to a bit of a lighter story after the "Rogue Hunter" trilogy. It was an enjoyable read, if nothing particularly memorable.

Not one of my favorites from this series. It had its moments. Mostly any time Lucien spoke were my favorite parts of the story.
