First published at age sixteen, Gardner is a lifetime writer, from short fiction to songs to comedy sketches. His young adult novel, SCHOOL., was written over the course of two years while living in Raleigh, North Carolina. The story follows two high school best friends in Wilson, North Carolina who find a niche at their new private high school by creating an underground drug ring. Gardner currently resides in Charleston, where he has written for Charleston Magazine and several other local publications.
