Oh, the heartbreak. HUNTER'S MOON doesn't have my favorite mystery (much darker and more claustrophobic than usual), but the character development (especially between Kate and Jack), just blew me away. Heartbreaking and beautiful.
Dana Stabenow is a good writer. Her characters are very real, the scenes vivid and believable. The problem is, I can't stand the protagonist of this series.
