The plot was hard to follow in this book
Narda is hunting Evander through a planet's mandatory festival. She thinks she's found him in this dark skanky bar but he's found her. They've been playing this hide-and-seek game for 6 months since they met when he pirated her ship and kept her as booty. Very good short story.
This snippet started as a quasi-suspense story with Narda hunting for Doran "Van" Evander, following him to Lisala-7, a planet in the throes of a sex-fest.
