Diagnosed with a learning disability at the age of 9, growing up wasn't easy. I knew that I was a bit different; and the more I was around other kids my age, it was harder and harder to forget. My journey led me through depression, anger, indifference, and finally, acceptance. My faith, my developing self-love, and the inspiration that I drew from all the little miracles around me, helped me come to a place where I was not only comfortable with myself; but proud, and confident enough to pursue my dreams. It takes accepting who you are, and realizing the gifts you are truly blessed with to find the confidence to be who you want to be; and when you have that, nothing can stop you. The two words I AM are the true answer to confidence and more. I AM my own worst enemy. I AM my greatest ally. I AM Chris Butler, and I AM for the better!
