Great premise, a fictional account suggested by the I Dream of Jeannie TV series. The backstory of genies dating back to Roman times is wonderful, the magical details are well worked out. The romance is a little over the top, a little too perfect. Great fluffy romance.
This was rather a fun story to read. Totally make believe but it does take you on a magical journey. The eBook has 300 pages on the Nook.Down-on-his luck Matt Ewing has the good fortune of a 2,000-year-old magic genie falling right into his lap. Not my cup of tea, cute and humorous sort of chick lit with paranormal thrown in, good writing as well. I just haven't been in a mood for those kind of books for quite sometime already.

Judi Fennell brings her signature cheeky humor that served her so well during her Mer series, Tritone Trilogy (In Over Her Head, Wild Blue Under, and Catch of a Lifetime) that is smart, sassy, and just a little bit slapstick. Once ...

It’s like Easter morning as you discover all of these little eggs she has cleverly written into her story. I Dream of Genies is campy yet c...
Jeannie is Eden, the Major is Matt Ewing, and I'm still trying to find a reference for Obo, the talking cat... For those too young to know, Jeannie was played by Barbara Eden, and Larry Hagman (the Major) also played J.R. Ewing in Dallas. I like the author's sense of humor!I Dream of Genies is a fun...
