Her fic­tion and poetry have been trans­lated into seven lan­guages and fea­tured on NPR's All Things Con­sid­ered and in Slate, The Paris Review, Sto­ryQuar­terly, and Guernica. She's also trans­lated four books from Spanish and Portuguese, most recently Clarice Lispector's novel The Pas­sion Accord­ing to G.H. She teaches in the Creative Writing Program at Princeton University.

The whooshing sound was many passages in this book soaring over my head. Still, this is key to Lispector's own sort of mysticism and her prose is as ecstatic as it can be paradoxical and philosophical.
